The Doctor and Guy arrive in Brisbane in the early part of the 21st Century, after hearing disturbing reports of ships being sunk out at sea by some unearthly force. The Doctor feels the situation needs investigating, and Guy feels the need for a holiday.
The pair of them set off in a hired boat to discover just what is going on - but why are boats sinking in calm weather? Why has there been a strange glow sighted in the ocean depths?
Before long, their boat is attacked out at sea - but by whom and why, the Doctor doesn't know. All he does know is that Guy is in danger - and he must find him before whatever is out there is able to claim more lives...

Things to watch out for...[]
- The Doctor's panama hat, last seen in Rapture The Heavens, makes its final appearance in a BTR Doctor Who release. The hat was already at this stage starting to fall apart, and almost did not survive filming this serial.
- The music featured in the opening of the release is the demonstration music that Peter Howell created in 1980 as demo material for the BBC Radiophonic Workshop when asked to become the resident composers for the TV series.

- The Walker's unique costume here was the first original costume creation for a BTR production, having been assembled by Susannah Tiller from various op-shop items in the week leading up to filming.
